FINALLY

Finally we are the same time as ARIZONA!!!!!!

Grandma Elda

I have been putting of blogging and today my blog consultation said she had a bone to pick with me for not updating so here goes.
As alot of you may know Grandma Elda had a fall and broke her femur bone. They flew her to mesa where she is waiting to have surgery. My mind and heart has been so flooded with so many wonderful memories and years with her as she taught me so many things.
I meet her when I was in high school and she was the head secretary. I worked with her my junior and senior year. This was also when I first meet John. After we were married and my parents moved out of Springerville she became my MOM. She taught me so many things. She taught me to can,make bread from scratch,and to quilt.We had many long nights talking and she was always there for me. Elda and Gus were dating the same time John and I were and so it was pretty fun. Sometimes John would beat her home!!! After Grandpa Gus passed away she was so lonely and started going to the single stuff in Mesa.
She never liked to be alone.I have missed her so much and worry about her. She is a special person and when she married Grandpa Wallace they were so in love and had a great life together. I just hope and pray that she will be able to recover from this.
It has been cold here today so I stayed home and made Tyson's Pumpkin cookies and Banana muffins. Hope everyone has a safe weekend... Love to all MOM

Home Again, Home Again

What a great two week's I had in Arizona. It was the best spending time with everyone. It was so hard to say goodbye.. Everyday was filled with grand kids. Lots of noise,food and fun. On Friday we had a P-Day. Everyone arrived at Becky's in their PJ and had pancakes and pumpkin pancakes yummy. Then the fun started with movies and just hanging out. For lunch each grand kid made their own pizza and we had pudding for dessert.They had fun making the pizza.The kids all got along so well. They really like being together and just hanging out.The two weeks passed so fasted and as I left on Saturday I had a feeling that i maybe needed to take each grandchild aside and express my love to them. I sometime feel like maybe I don't tell them enough.i hope they don't feel that way. I want them to remember the good memories. OH and we took lots of pictures too.I must say at the end of our p-day I was POOPED...Thanks again to Becky and Shane for buying the plane ticket and Randall for letting me go for two weeks. So now back to Utah and the beautiful fall colors. I am glad to be here and thankful for all my beautiful family. YOUR THE BEST!!!! Have a great week and remember to love one another.

I'm leaven on a Jet Plane

Don't know when I'll Be back again.. Good song huh? Well Iam going to leave on Monday on a Jet Plane for AZ for two weeks.Can't wait to see all the grand kids and the kids.The grand kids in school are out for two weeks for fall break. So Becky made it possible for me to come. Maybe she will also have the time to teach me how to download pictures on this blog and everything else..lol So today I need to start packing a suit case. There was frost on the pumpkin this morning.It is starting to turn cold.Yeck..I feel like I lost two whole months with this knee surgery.Oh well.Hope everyone enjoys General Conference this weekend.
