Feeling old

There are things that make you feel like your really getting old. For me latley it has been many things,but I guess the biggest thing is when the school year starts and those grandkids all move up a grade and the little ones start all day kindergarden. Wow it was as ruff on the grandma as the Moms{HAHA} I miss seeing and hearing all about their first day of school. I have been so involued for so many years I sometimes feel like I have moved to another planet. And a part of me wants to go to Wal-mart to buy those school supplies..oh no...I guess I will live through it. I love each one of You Mom

SLC here we come

Got the call from the doc this afternoon and he confirmed there was a mass behind my knee. He is going to send me to another doctor. So here we go!!! Here are the new instructions to do:

1. Stay off leg as much as possible {been doing that}
2. Take pain pills when needed.
3. Do heat and cold packs

I have been doing this for the last 14 days and Iam ready to get this over. The lord is still trying to teach me to have patience. just experiencing a little reminds me of all the pain john had to endure and with hardly any complaining. He has been my example again.What a strong person he was. What a great quality he has instilled in his children. Each one different but so much like that special person,that special dad and that great wonderful friend he was to them.If we could all be like that!Just to Love everyone,forgive everyone and make everything we do make a mark in this life for the best. I will keep trying,I will keep having faith and I will keep trying to Love no matter what... Love Mom

WHAT!!!!!!

Some of you may know I have been having problems with my knees and had a most horrible trip to and from Arizona. When we got home on the 14Th I tried to get in to see the doctor and he had no openings till yesterday. So I keep my appointment and couldn't wait to see the doc. After another set of x-rays he decided he needed to check for a blood clot behind the left knee. This was where all the pain was. I was hardly able to put any weight on it.He sent me for a scan and found no clot.. Good deal!!!! but then I was told that the doctor would call me at home. He did and said I had a mass in the back of my knee and needed to have a MRI on Monday at 6:15 a.m. then he would have to send me to a special doc in Salt Lake..What the heck? I know you are thinking "Well sometimes the meanness has to come out somewhere"!I thought maybe it was a baker's cyst but they said No so we will see what is up on Monday. Until then..Hot and cold packs and laying around with my leg up.. Oh well Hope everyone enjoys your weekend.. Love me

Happy Birthdays

Sorry this post is so behind,but I wanted to write alittle about the birthdays that we have had in the family. I first need to start with April. She is the most wonderful daughter in law to me. I have experienced the not so good and I cant even say how great it is to have April in the family. She is the best Mom to all of the kids.She has been the best thing that has ever happened to Tyson.She is my daughter from the South and I love her with all my heart.

Jarin Alden had his birthday on the 10Th of June. He is a little Tyson. He looks like Tyson and acts just like him. I watch him and my mind is flooded with memories of years gone past. His little smile will melt your heart.

Next in line is Keiera Taylor she is Randall's Second to the oldest Granddaughter. She is 15 and quite a hand full. She has a cute smile and knows how to wrap grandpa around her finger. She is not to sure about me but seems to be giving hugs easier these days.

Chelsie had a birthday on the 28Th of June. She is my oldest and so you know How I feel {OLD} From the moment that I saw her she was forever fixed in my heart. She has a way with showing her love for everyone.She is always there to try to help fix the problem. I will never forget the day John died she was right there for me and many times when I needed to talk about my life with john Chelsie was there to listen. She found a Scripture in D&C that she wrote on a piece of paper and put on my pillow one night that reads.. That when the trump shall sound for the dead,We shall be caught in the cloud to meet thee,That we may ever be with the Lord. What a special granddaughter she is to me.

Kayci comes next on the 17Th of July. She turned seven and boy is she cute. she has the biggest brown eyes and knows how to melt grandpa heart real fast. She has called me grandma from the start and she is a special little girl.

Today is Shelby birthday. Oh I remember the day she was born so well. The Diamond Backs were playing and so the t.v. was going. When she was born Becky said: Mom does her hair look red? I said NO when they clean her up it will look different! Well it did it went from a dark red to carrot red. But what a beautiful red it is. Shelby became my yard sale Saturday Buddie. When we were living with them Shelby and I would sneak out early on Saturdays and go to all the yard sales we could fine. She would act funny and make me laugh. She has a temper to go with that red hair but has always showed so much love to me.She has been a blessing to Becky and is so much help.

On July 24 Andi Jean has a birthday. WOW she was given my middle name and so I must say she probably act a little like me. She has big eyes and the cutest smile ever. What fun she is. It must be hard being the third child! I should know!!!! She is sweet and is a big help with her brother and sisters.

Also on the 24Th is Randall's youngest grandchild who will be one. Her name is Olivia and she is a little doll. She is learning to walk and say a few words like Bella{the neighbors dog} Mommy ,Daddy, and Nana{that would be me} As you can see we have had a few birthdays and next month we have ten more so stay tuned......

Wonderful Time in AZ

What a great time we had in az. Fun ,Family, and HEAT.. We had a great 4th of July and I must say the Parade was really great. Even Randall was impressed. But he has already fallen in Love with Eagar and the wonderful people there. He is talking about moving there in two years. Coming home to Logan was really hard for me this time. Seeing how all the grandkids are growing and spending time with Mom Elda and it made it so hard to say see you soon.I have struggled with this and have had the wants to go home. Why does things have to be so hard sometimes? I know that the Lord knows what is the best for all his children. Why do we have to Question this? Where is my Faith today? OK i must be rambling on SORRY..But I am Glad to have Randall in my life at this time. What a caring and loving person he is. He has a great love for my kids and grandkids. Thanks to my kids and Uncle Bill they got John's headstone set and it looks great. Iam so glad that it's done.Iam not sure really what took me so long to make the move on getting it done. I guess it felt like a final chapter in my life. But life is good.. Have a great weekend. I love you all MOM
